About Orbit Domains

A domain is the first thing people see when they find you online. We think getting one should be fast, honest, and free of hidden fees — so that's exactly what we built.

Why we started Orbit

We got tired of registrars that hide fees, flood inboxes with upsells, and make simple tasks feel complicated. So we built the kind of domain service we actually wanted to use — one where prices are clear, the dashboard doesn't need a manual, and you never get an email from some random upstream provider you didn't sign up with.

Orbit is a reseller, which means registrations go through an ICANN-accredited partner behind the scenes. But everything you touch — your account, your dashboard, your receipts — stays right here with us.

What you can do here

Pretty much everything you'd expect from a modern registrar:

  • Search hundreds of extensions and see real prices in your currency before you commit.
  • Register new domains, transfer existing ones, or renew what you already own.
  • Point your domain wherever you need it — DNS records, custom nameservers, the works.
  • Keep your personal info out of public WHOIS with privacy protection (included free on most domains).
  • Pay once, through our checkout. No invoices from third parties showing up later.

How we do things differently

Most registrars treat you like a lead, not a customer. We'd rather just... not do that.

  • The price you see is the price you pay. No "first year only" tricks, no surprise renewal jumps.
  • One dashboard, one inbox. You won't get emails from our registrar partner or see their branding anywhere.
  • Privacy protection is on by default where it's supported. Your contact details are yours.
  • We're building for the long run — email, hosting, and more are on the roadmap, and they'll plug right in.
