Losing a domain by letting it lapse is the most common — and most painful — mistake. To prevent it, eligible domains are set to renew automatically before they expire.

• We send reminders ahead of expiry so nothing takes you by surprise.
• You can disable auto-renewal in the dashboard; the domain then expires at the end of its term unless you renew manually.
